✍️ Devotional Thought

It's Monday.

A brand-new week stands before you.

Seven fresh days.

Seven opportunities to make progress.

Seven opportunities to grow closer to the goals God has placed in your heart.

As authors, it's easy to begin the week focused on everything that still needs to be done.

The chapters left unwritten.

The edits still waiting.

The marketing plans not yet finished.

But today, instead of focusing on how far you have left to go...

Take a moment to celebrate how far you've already come.

Every word you've written matters.

Every lesson you've learned matters.

Every prayer you've prayed over your writing matters.

Joshua reminds us to be strong and courageous.

Not because we have all the answers.

Not because we know exactly how the story will unfold.

But because God is with us.

Philippians reminds us that our strength doesn't come from ourselves alone.

It comes from Christ.

When inspiration feels low...

When motivation fades...

When the writing feels difficult...

God remains faithful.

And Psalm 90 reminds us to ask God to establish the work of our hands.

The beautiful thing about writing for His glory is that He can take our ordinary efforts and use them in extraordinary ways.

So this week...

Write with faith.

Dream with confidence.

Pray with expectation.

And trust God with every page.

Because the Author of your life is still writing beautiful things through you.
