🌿 Monday, March 23, 2026✨ Start Again With Purpose ✨

đź“– Scripture (KJV)

Isaiah 43:18–19“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth…”

Lamentations 3:22–23“It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed… they are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”

Philippians 3:13–14“…forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,I press toward the mark…”

✍️ Devotional Thought

A new week is here.

And with it comes something so powerful…the opportunity to begin again.

Maybe last week didn’t go the way you planned.

You didn’t write as much as you hoped. You felt distracted, discouraged, or overwhelmed. You started strong but lost momentum along the way.

But God is not measuring your journey by one week.

He is looking at your heart.

Isaiah reminds us not to dwell on the past, because God is always doing something new.

That includes your writing.

That unfinished chapter? That paused manuscript? That idea you haven’t touched in weeks?

It’s not over.

God can breathe fresh life into it.

Lamentations tells us His mercies are new every morning — not just for life, but for your calling as well.

You don’t have to carry last week’s frustration into this week.

You don’t have to hold onto guilt or disappointment.

You can release it…and start again.

Paul reminds us in Philippians to forget what’s behind and press forward.

That’s what writing in faith looks like.

You don’t quit because of a slow week. You don’t give up because of a hard day.You don’t abandon the calling because progress feels delayed.

You press forward.

One word at a time. One page at a time. One faithful step at a time.

This week is not about perfection.

It’s about purpose.

It’s about showing up again. It’s about trusting God again. It’s about writing what He places on your heart… again.

And every time you begin again, you are walking in obedience.

🌿 Monday Reflection

What do I need to release from last week?

What is God calling me to start again?

What is one simple writing goal I can set for today?

🙏 Prayer

Father,Thank You for the gift of a new beginning. Help me release any discouragement from the past and step forward with renewed faith and purpose. Breathe fresh inspiration into my heart and guide my words as I write. Give me discipline, focus, and joy in the calling You have placed within me.In Jesus’ name, Amen.
