🌿 Sunday, April 5, 2026✨ Write From Overflow ✨

đź“– Scripture (KJV)

Luke 6:45“…for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.”

John 7:38“He that believeth on me… out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”

Psalm 51:10“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”

✍️ Devotional Thought

As writers, we often focus on what we are producing.

The chapters.The words.The message.

But God gently reminds us today…

Writing is not just about what comes out—it’s about what is within.

Luke tells us that what flows from us comes from the abundance of our heart.

That means your writing is deeply connected to your spiritual condition.

If your heart is full of peace… your words will carry peace. If your heart is full of truth… your words will reflect truth. If your heart is connected to God… your writing will carry His presence.

John paints a powerful picture—rivers of living water flowing out.

Not forced.Not strained.Not manufactured.

But flowing.

That’s what writing looks like when it comes from a heart filled with God.

But sometimes…

We try to pour out when we’re empty.

We push ourselves to write when we feel drained. We strive when we haven’t spent time being filled.

And that’s when writing begins to feel heavy.

Psalm 51 is a beautiful reminder to ask God to renew our hearts.

Because when God renews your heart…

✨ Your words become fresh✨ Your thoughts become clear✨ Your message becomes powerful

So today, before you focus on writing more…

Focus on being filled.

Spend time with Him.Sit in His presence.Let Him pour into you.

Because when your heart is full…

Your writing will naturally overflow.

🌿 Sunday Reflection

What has been filling my heart lately?

Am I trying to write from an empty place?

How can I spend time being filled by God today?

🙏 Prayer

Father,Create in me a clean heart and renew my spirit. Fill me with Your presence so that what flows from me reflects You. Help me not to strive in my own strength, but to write from a place of overflow. Let my words carry Your love, truth, and peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

đź’ś Sunday Author Encouragement

Don’t write from empty…Write from overflow.

What God pours into you will flow through you. ✍️📖✨
