📖 Scripture (KJV)

Philippians 1:6“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”

Ecclesiastes 3:11“He hath made every thing beautiful in his time…”

Proverbs 3:5-6“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

✍️ Devotional Thought

As writers, we often become frustrated with unfinished pages.

The chapter that's not complete.

The manuscript that still needs editing.

The dream that seems to be taking longer than expected.

Sometimes we begin to wonder if we're making any progress at all.

But God isn't discouraged by unfinished things.

In fact, He specializes in them.

Philippians reminds us that the God who began the work in you is faithful to complete it.

That includes your story.

That includes your calling.

That includes the dream He placed within your heart.

Ecclesiastes tells us that God makes everything beautiful in His time.

Not our timetable.

Not according to our expectations.

But according to His perfect plan.

Some seasons are for planting.

Some are for growing.

And some are for harvesting.

Wherever you are in your writing journey, trust that God is still working.

Don't despise the unfinished chapters.

Don't become discouraged by slow progress.

And don't compare your journey to someone else's.

God knows exactly what He is doing.

So today, instead of focusing on what isn't finished…

Celebrate what God is doing behind the scenes.

Keep writing.

Keep praying.

Keep believing.

Because unfinished does not mean forgotten.

And delayed does not mean denied.

The Author of your life is still writing something beautiful.

💜 Am I trusting His timing or trying to rush the process?

💜 How has God already shown His faithfulness in my journey?

Father,

Thank You for reminding me that You are not finished with me or the work You have called me to do. Help me to trust You with the unfinished pages and the dreams that are still developing. Give me patience, faith, and perseverance. Teach me to rest in Your timing and to continue writing with hope and confidence.
