📖 Scripture (KJV)

2 Timothy 1:7“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

Galatians 6:9“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Joshua 1:9“Be strong and of a good courage… for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

✍️ Devotional Thought

Not every writing day feels easy.

Some days the words flow…Some days the ideas come quickly…

And then there are days like today—

When it feels hard.

Hard to focus.Hard to find the words.Hard to push past the doubt.

You may even wonder…

“Is this really worth it?”“Does this even matter?”

And that’s where many writers stop.

But God is calling you to something deeper—

Faithfulness, even when it’s hard.

2 Timothy reminds us that fear does not come from God.

Fear of not being good enough.Fear of not finishing.Fear of what others might think.

That fear is not from Him.

He has given you:

✨ Power✨ Love✨ A sound mind

Galatians reminds us not to grow weary.

Because the harvest comes after the hard days.

After the pushing through.After the choosing to continue.

Joshua reminds us to be strong and courageous—

Not because we feel strong…

But because God is with us.

So today, if writing feels hard…

That doesn’t mean stop.

It means press in.

Write anyway.Show up anyway.Take one step anyway.

Because breakthrough often comes…

Right after the hard moment.

Father,Thank You for being with me even on the hard days. Help me to push past fear, doubt, and discouragement. Give me strength, focus, and courage to continue writing. Remind me that You are with me and that this journey has purpose.In Jesus’ name, Amen.
