A New Month and Renewed Determination
Scripture:
Isaiah 43:19 (KJV)
"Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?"
Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV)
"It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: Great is thy faithfulness."
Habakkuk 2:2 (KJV)
"And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it."
Welcome to July.
A new month.
A fresh beginning.
A blank page waiting to be filled.
Before you think about what you didn't accomplish last month, remember this:
God's mercies are new every morning.
Yesterday's disappointments do not determine today's possibilities.
Perhaps June wasn't everything you hoped it would be.
Maybe life became busy.
Maybe the words didn't come as easily as you expected.
Maybe your ideas remained trapped in your mind instead of making their way onto the page.
But today is a new day.
And July is a new month.
Now is not the time to become discouraged.
Now is the time to begin again with renewed determination.
God didn't place those stories, dreams, and ideas inside your heart so they would stay there.
He gave them to you for a reason.
Someone needs the hope your story carries.
Someone needs the encouragement your words can provide.
Someone needs the testimony only you can tell.
Habakkuk reminds us to write the vision.
Not just think about it.
Not just dream about it.
Write it.
Get those thoughts out of your head and onto the page.
Stop worrying about perfection.
Stop waiting for the perfect moment.
Stop believing the lie that you have to have everything figured out before you begin.
Simply start.
Write one sentence.
Write one paragraph.
Write one page.
And then write another.
Books are written one word at a time.
Dreams are fulfilled one faithful step at a time.
And God is still doing new things.
So begin this month with hope.
Begin this month with purpose.
Begin this month with renewed determination.
Because the Author of your life still has beautiful chapters waiting to be written.

đź’ś What ideas do I need to get out of my head and onto the page?
đź’ś What writing goals do I want to accomplish this month?
đź’ś What distractions do I need to leave behind?
đź’ś How can I faithfully use the gifts God has given me?
Prayer:
Father, thank You for the gift of a new month and a fresh beginning. Thank You for the dreams and stories You have placed within my heart. Help me to stop overthinking and start writing. Give me renewed determination and the courage to put my thoughts onto the page. Teach me to trust You with the process and to remain faithful to the calling You have given me. May my words bring glory to You and encouragement to others. In Jesus' name, Amen.

New opportunities.
No more waiting.
No more overthinking.
Get those thoughts out of your head and onto the page.
Keep writing.
Keep believing.
Keep trusting the Author of your story. ✍️📖💜
