Grateful for the Week, Confident in His Hands

Happy Friday, beautiful hearts!

You’ve made it to the end of the week, and that’s no small thing. Whether this week felt like a whirlwind, a breakthrough, or a battle, God’s hand has been in every moment. And guess what? He’s not finished yet.

Friday isn’t the end—it’s a pause, a reflection, a quiet hallelujah that says:ā€œGod brought me this far, and He’ll carry me the rest of the way.ā€

āœļø Verse of the Day

ā€œBeing confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.ā€ā€” Philippians 1:6 (KJV)

What a promise to rest in!The same God who startedĀ the work in you—the healing, the calling, the rebuilding, the refining—will finish it.Ā You are not forgotten. You are not falling behind. You are being formed.

You may not see the full picture yet, but you can be confident in this:He’s not done. And what He does is always good.

šŸ“œ On This Day in History – July 25

  • 1814 – The U.S. Library of Congress was restored after being destroyed by fire. Just like that rebuilding, God can restore what was burned, broken, or stolen in your life.

  • 1978 – The first ā€œtest tube babyā€ was born in England, a major medical milestone. A reminder that God is the Author of life, using both miracles and medicine.

  • 1965 – Bob Dylan went electric at the Newport Folk Festival. Not all change is easy—but when God leads the shift, new things bloom.

šŸŽ‰ National Days – July 25

  • National Merry-Go-Round Day – Sometimes life feels like a circle—but even in repetition, God is working something new.

  • National Thread the Needle Day – A reminder of precision, patience, and purpose. God never misses a stitch in your story.Ā He weaves it all together with grace.

šŸ’› Friday Focus: Confidence in Christ

Today, reflect on this:

  • Where has God brought you from?

  • What has He carried you through this week?

  • What is He stirring in your heart right now?

You’re not too late. You’re not too much. You’re not too broken. You’re becoming exactly who God made you to be.

šŸ™ Friday Prayer:

Lord, thank You for the strength to finish this week. Thank You for every moment You carried us when we couldn’t carry ourselves. Give us confidence—not in our ability, but in Your faithfulness. Complete what You’ve started in us. Let this Friday be filled with peace, purpose, and praise. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🌟 Today’s Challenge:

Celebrate your progress.Write down one thing God helped you through this week—big or small. Then give Him praise for what He’s still doing behind the scenes.

You’ve been faithful, even in the unknown.God has been near, even when you didn’t feel it.And tomorrow? He’ll still be God, still be good, and still be with you.

With confidence and calm,Sarah M. SkaggsAgape Love Ministry 🌼"He finishes what He starts. And He started something beautiful in you."
