Rooted in Faith, Reaching in Love
Blessed Wednesday, dear friends!
Itās a new day full of possibilities, promises, and purpose. Here in the warmth of July, weāre reminded of how Godās grace grows in every season. Whether youāre walking through sunshine or shadows today, know this: you are being held by the hands that shaped the stars.
Letās walk through today with open eyes, ready hearts, and a spirit that expects to encounter God's goodness.
āļø Scripture of the Day
āBlessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters...āā Jeremiah 17:7-8 (KJV)
Just like a tree draws strength and nourishment from the water beneath, our hope is sustained by Godās Word. We may not see the fruit right away, but growth is always happening beneath the surface. Keep trusting. Keep standing. Youāre planted, not buried.
š On This Day in History ā July 10
1925Ā ā The Scopes "Monkey" TrialĀ began in Tennessee, bringing public debate over the teaching of evolution. Today, we still stand boldly for the truth of God as our Creatorāthe Author of life, order, and beauty.
1962Ā ā Telstar 1, the first communications satellite, was launched. It changed how the world stayed connected. And yet, even before satellites, prayer has always been the original wireless connectionādirect, constant, and powerful.
š National & Heritage Holidays ā July 10
National Kitten DayĀ ā A sweet reminder that even the smallest among us reflect the tender love of our Creator. If you have a furry friend, give them some extra love todayāor consider donating to a local shelter.
Donāt Step on a Bee DayĀ (UK-originated but growing in popularity) ā Bees may be tiny, but their role in Godās creation is mighty. Let this be a symbol today: Every role matters. Every soul has purpose.
Bahamas Independence DayĀ (since 1973) ā We honor our brothers and sisters in the Caribbean today. May God bless the Bahamas with peace, provision, and revival in Jesus' name.
š Midweek Agape Encouragement
Sometimes Wednesdays feel like weāre stuck in betweenāthe weekend feels far away, and the start of the week has already taken its toll. But hereās the good news: God does some of His best work in the middle.Ā In the middle of battles. In the middle of storms. In the middle of the waiting.
So if today finds you in the middle of a trial or transition, take heart:š§ The Living Water is near.šæ You are rooted in His love.šø Fruit is coming.
š Midweek Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being our steady anchor in the middle of the week and the middle of life. Help us to remain rooted in You, trusting that even when we donāt see results, You are working in the unseen. Grow our faith. Use our lives. Let love be what weāre known for. In Jesusā name, amen.
š Todayās Challenge:
Send a āYou matterā textĀ to someone who might need it.Your words might be the answer to a silent prayer.
Stay rooted. Stay hopeful. You are seen. You are known. You are deeply loved.
In His abundant grace,Sarah M. SkaggsAgape Love Ministry šŗ"Faithfully rooted. Eternally loved."
