Held by Grace, Walking in Purpose
Good morning, beloved!
Here we are, embracing another summer morning wrapped in mercy and possibility. July 11th isnât just another date on the calendarâitâs another divine opportunity to reflect Godâs love in a world that desperately needs it.
Whether you're sipping coffee on the porch, driving to work, or helping little ones get settled for the day, may this blog be a reminder that God is with you in every detail.
âď¸ Verse of the Day
âFor the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.ââ Psalm 84:11 (KJV)
What a promise! The Lord is both light for your path and protection from harm. He is not a distant observer but a loving Father who delights in blessing His children with good thingsâespecially when we walk humbly with Him. Keep walking, friend. Your steps are seen and guided by His grace.
đ On This Day in History â July 11
1804 â Alexander Hamilton was fatally wounded in a duel with Aaron Burr. A powerful reminder of how pride and anger can destroy. Let us choose grace over grudges and peace over pride today.
1979 â Skylab, the first U.S. space station, re-entered Earthâs atmosphere and disintegrated. Even the mightiest human inventions fallâbut Godâs Word stands forever (Isaiah 40:8).
1893Â â The first cultured pearl was created in Japan. A tiny irritant became something beautifulâjust like how God can turn our trials into treasures.
đşđ¸ National Holidays â July 11
National Cheer Up the Lonely Day â A perfect mission for the Agape Love family! Look aroundâwho is God placing on your heart today? A call, a note, a knock on the doorâit could mean the world to someone quietly struggling.
National Blueberry Muffin Day â A sweet way to celebrate lifeâs simple joys. Why not bake a batch and share with a neighbor or friend?
đ Agape Action for Today
Thereâs someone in your circle right now who feels unseen, forgotten, or overwhelmed.Ask the Lord, âWho needs Your love through me today?âThen go do something small with great love.
Remember: Ministry doesnât always happen behind a pulpitâit often happens on a porch, in a driveway, or at a kitchen table.
đ Todayâs Prayer:
Gracious Father, thank You for being our sun and shield. Guide our steps today. Show us who needs encouragement, who needs prayer, and who needs a smile. Let us live this day on purposeâloving others the way You love us. In Jesusâ name, amen.
đ Todayâs Challenge:
Cheer up the lonely.Call someone who lives alone. Deliver muffins. Write a note. You may be the answer to a prayer they were too tired to speak.
You were created for connection, called to love, and chosen to shine.Keep goingâyouâre making more of a difference than you know.
