Agape Love Blog – Monday, October 6, 2025Faith Over Fear

Good morning, beloved!

A brand-new week has dawned, and with it, opportunities to walk in faith. Fear often tries to creep into our hearts—fear of the unknown, of failure, or of what lies ahead—but God’s Word reminds us that faith is greater. When we keep our eyes on Jesus, fear loses its grip, and peace fills its place.

✝️ Verse of the Day“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)

Fear may whisper lies, but faith declares truth. The Spirit God has placed within us is not one of timidity—it is one of power, love, and peace.

Faith is not the absence of fear—it’s trusting God in the middle of it.

On This Day in History – October 6

  • 1979 – Pope John Paul II celebrated Mass in Chicago before a massive crowd, uniting hearts in faith and hope.

  • National Coaches Day – Honoring those who mentor, guide, and strengthen others, just as God coaches us through life.

  • National Noodle Day – A lighthearted way to enjoy fellowship and a reminder that even small blessings are worth celebrating.

  • National Plus Size Appreciation Day – A celebration of beauty in every form, reminding us that we are all fearfully and wonderfully made.

Monday Reflection: Choosing Faith Daily

Faith isn’t a one-time choice—it’s a daily decision. When we wake up and decide to trust God, even when the path ahead seems unclear, we honor Him. Fear may try to rise, but faith stands firm on His promises.

Every moment of trust is a victory over fear.

Monday Prayer:Lord, thank You for the gift of a new week. Fill me with Your peace and strength to face whatever comes my way. Help me to walk in faith and not fear, knowing that You are always with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge:Write down one fear that has been weighing on your heart. Then pray over it and surrender it fully to God, declaring that His power is greater.

May your Monday be filled with faith, courage, and the confidence that you are never alone.
