Midweek Mercy, Everlasting Hope
Good morning, precious ones!
Itâs Wednesdayâright in the middle of the week, where some of us are soaring and others are simply holding on. But hereâs the truth that never changes: God meets us in the middle. He doesnât wait for Sunday best or mountain-top moments. He shows up in the messy middle with mercy in both hands.
So wherever today finds you, breathe deep. Let grace settle over your heart. You are not aloneâyou are being carried.
âď¸ Verse of the Day
âBut they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.ââ Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
Are you weary? Heâs your strength. Are you tired of waiting? Heâs working while you wait.Today is not wasted. Waiting in the Lordâs presence is never idleâitâs active trust, and it leads to divine renewal.
đ On This Day in History â July 16
1969Â â Apollo 11 launched to the moon. A journey that began on earth, aimed for the heavens. So does our faithârooted here, reaching up. Keep believing for things beyond what you can see.
1945Â â The first atomic bomb test occurred in New Mexico. A chilling reminder that power in the wrong hands destroysâbut in Godâs hands, power redeems and restores.
1790Â â Washington, D.C. was established as the U.S. capital. Just as nations are formed, so are our lives shaped by Godâs sovereignty and timing.
đşđ¸ National Holidays â July 16
National Personal Chef Day â Whether youâre cooking for one or ten, preparing a meal can be ministry. Jesus met people at the tableâso can we.
National Corn Fritters Day â A little Southern comfort never hurt! Maybe gather around a meal today and share the goodness of the Lord in simple conversation.
đĄ Midweek Moment of Encouragement
Wednesdays can feel like a wilderness between the starting line and the finish line. But remember this: God provided manna in the middle. Water in the waiting. Victory in the valley.
Today, Heâs offering you strengthânot just to survive, but to soar.
So take that next step. Pray that next prayer. Share that next kindness.Youâre not behindâyouâre becoming.
đ Midweek Prayer:
Father, thank You for meeting us in the middle. For strength that rises when we fall, and peace that comes when we pause in Your presence. Renew our energy, calm our fears, and help us soar todayânot by our strength, but by Yours. In Jesusâ name, Amen.
đ Todayâs Challenge:
Encourage one person who looks like theyâre in the middle.A co-worker. A tired mama. A neighbor.Your voice could be the wind beneath their wings today.
Godâs not done. Youâre not done. And this dayâthis middleâis holy ground.
With soaring hope,Sarah M. SkaggsAgape Love Ministry đˇ"Faith in the middle. Strength for the journey. Hope that lifts."
