Good morning, beloved friends!
As we enter the weekend, let’s take time to both rest and rejoice. Weekends are gifts—time to step back, reflect, and renew. They remind us that God didn’t design us to endlessly strive, but to pause in His presence, delight in His goodness, and worship with thankful hearts.
✝️ Verse of the Weekend“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”— Psalm 118:24 (KJV)
Every day—Saturday or Sunday—is made by God and filled with opportunities to rejoice, give thanks, and live with joy.
Rest reminds us we are held. Rejoicing reminds us He is good.

Weekend Reflection: Rest & Rejoice
Saturday is a time to pause and rest in God’s presence. Sunday is a time to gather and rejoice in His goodness. Together, they give us a rhythm of renewal that strengthens us for the week ahead.
Rest prepares the heart. Rejoicing fills it with joy.
Weekend Prayer:Lord, thank You for the gift of rest and the joy of worship. Help me to slow down and find peace in Your presence this weekend. Fill my heart with gladness as I rejoice in Your goodness. Renew me in body, mind, and spirit for the days ahead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Weekend Challenge:Take time on Saturday to rest in God’s presence, and on Sunday to rejoice with others in worship. Let both days refresh your soul.
May your weekend be filled with peace, joy, and the presence of God in every moment.
