š² Campfire Cowboy Chili Stew
A thick, smoky chili-style stew packed with beef, beans, and rich western flavor.
Serves:Ā 6ā8Cook Time:Ā 45ā50 minutes
š¶ Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can kidney beans, drained
1 can pinto beans, drained
1 can diced tomatoes
3½ cups beef broth
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
½ tsp smoked paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
š³ Instructions
Brown ground beef in a Dutch oven.
Add onion and garlic; cook until soft.
Stir in beans, tomatoes, and broth.
Add seasonings and bring to a gentle boil.
Reduce heat and simmer 30ā35 minutesĀ until thick and rich.

š„ Creamy Chicken, Bacon & Potato Camp Chowder
A rich and cozy chowder ā tender chicken, crispy bacon, and potatoes in a creamy broth.
Serves:Ā 6ā8Cook Time:Ā 40 minutes
š„ Ingredients
4 slices bacon, chopped
2 tbsp butter
1 onion, diced
3 potatoes, diced
2 cups cooked shredded chicken
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup half-and-half
½ tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
š³ Instructions
Cook bacon in a Dutch oven; remove and set aside.
Add onion and potatoes to bacon drippings.
Pour in broth and simmer 20 minutes.
Add chicken and cream.
Simmer 5ā7 minutes.
Top with bacon before serving.
š¤ Chuckwagon Tip:Ā Mash a few potatoes against the side of the pot for a thicker chowder.

A peaceful Sunday comfort soup ā hearty beef, wholesome barley, and vegetables simmered slowly.
Serves:Ā 6ā8Cook Time:Ā 50ā60 minutes

1 lb beef stew meat
¾ cup pearl barley
2 carrots, sliced
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 onion, diced
1 can diced tomatoes
5 cups beef broth
1 tsp thyme
½ tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
š³ Instructions
Brown beef in a Dutch oven.
Add onion, carrots, and celery; cook 3ā4 minutes.
Stir in barley, tomatoes, broth, and seasonings.
Simmer 45ā50 minutesĀ until barley is tender.
š¤ Chuckwagon Tip:Ā Barley thickens soup naturally and makes it extra filling.
