🌾 Friday Chuckwagon Recipe
🍲 Cowboy Campfire Chili Stew
A thick, smoky stew packed with beef, beans, and rich chili flavor — the perfect way to kick off the weekend.
Serves: 6–8Cook Time: 45–50 minutes
🌶 Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can kidney beans, drained
1 can pinto beans, drained
1 can diced tomatoes
3½ cups beef broth
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
½ tsp smoked paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
🍳 Instructions
Brown ground beef in a Dutch oven.
Add onion and garlic; cook until soft.
Stir in beans, tomatoes, and broth.
Add seasonings and bring to a gentle boil.
Reduce heat and simmer 30–35 minutes until thick and rich.

🥓 Creamy Chicken, Bacon & Potato Camp Chowder

🥔 Ingredients
4 slices bacon, chopped
2 tbsp butter
1 onion, diced
3 potatoes, diced
2 cups cooked shredded chicken
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup half-and-half
½ tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
🍳 Instructions
Cook bacon in a Dutch oven; remove and set aside.
Add onion and potatoes to bacon drippings.

Brown beef in a Dutch oven.
