Devotional Thought

One fear many grieving hearts carry is that the people we love will somehow be forgotten.

But love remembers.

Memories matter.

Stories matter.

Lives matter.

The people who touched our hearts leave behind much more than photographs and possessions.

They leave laughter.

They leave lessons.

They leave traditions.

They leave examples of kindness, faith, and love that continue long after they are gone.

And every time we speak their names, share their stories, and remember the blessings they brought into our lives, we honor their legacy.

Friend, your loved one mattered.

Their life had purpose.

Their love made a difference.

And the beautiful truth is that what they planted in your heart continues to grow.

Perhaps today you remember a favorite saying they often shared.

Perhaps you smile when you think of their laugh.

Perhaps certain songs, recipes, or holidays remind you of precious moments together.

These are not reminders of what you have lost.

They are reminders of what you were blessed to have.

Love leaves a legacy that time cannot erase.
