💜 Agape Love Daily Grief Support Devotional 💜

"He Has Brought You This Far"

Scripture (KJV)

"Then Samuel took a stone, and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, Hitherto hath the Lord helped us."— 1 Samuel 7:12

Devotional Thought

As another month comes to an end, take a moment to reflect on how far God has brought you.

Perhaps there were difficult days.

Days when grief felt overwhelming.

Days when tears flowed freely.

Days when you wondered how you would make it through.

And yet, through every sorrow and every storm, God has been faithful.

You may not be where you want to be.

But you are not where you once were.

Healing may be slow.

The pain of loss may still be present.

And there may still be moments when memories bring tears.

But friend, never underestimate the faithfulness of God.

He has walked beside you through every lonely night.

He has held you through every painful memory.

He has given you strength when you thought you had none left.

And He has lovingly carried you one day at a time.

As June comes to a close, perhaps there are still unanswered questions.

Perhaps there are still wounds that need healing.

But there is also something else:

There is evidence of God's grace.

Evidence of His mercy.

Evidence of His sustaining power.

And just as Samuel declared,

"Hitherto hath the Lord helped us."

The same God who carried you through yesterday will carry you through tomorrow.

The same God who sustained you in June will walk with you into a new month.

And His love will never fail.

Prayer

Lord,

Thank You for Your faithfulness throughout this month. Thank You for carrying us through the tears, the memories, and the difficult days. Help us to look back with gratitude and forward with hope. Thank You that no matter what lies ahead, You have promised to never leave us nor forsake us.

In Jesus' Name, Amen.
