š» GOOD MORNING, SWEET FRIENDS & HAPPY FRIDAY!
Grab your coffee, open your Bible, and spend a few minutes with me this morning.
We are only two days into October, and already I am reminded of something beautiful about this season:
God never wastes a season.
There is a season for planting, a season for growing, a season for waiting, and eventuallyāa season for harvest.
Sometimes we become discouraged because we have been praying, working, believing, and waiting, but we haven't seen the harvest yet.
Friends, don't dig up what you planted just because it hasn't grown as quickly as you expected!
š āAnd let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.ā ā Galatians 6:9 KJV
Keep praying.
Keep believing.
Keep doing what God has called you to do.
Your season of waiting is not evidence that God has forgotten you.

š THIS DAY IN HISTORY ā OCTOBER 2
š° 1950 ā PeanutsĀ made its debut.Ā Charles M. Schulz's beloved comic strip first appeared in seven newspapers on October 2, 1950. Charlie Brown appeared in that very first strip; Snoopy would make his first appearance two days later.

š 1958 ā Guinea became independent from France.Ā October 2 continues to be celebrated as the country's Independence Day.
History is more than dates in a book. It is the story of people, families, communities, inventions, hardships, victories, and everyday life passed from one generation to another.

āļø CHRISTIAN HERITAGE ā ANGELS IN THE BIBLE
October 2 is observed by some Christian traditions as the Memorial of the Holy Guardian Angels, a day focusing on God's care and the biblical ministry of angels.
While Christian traditions may observe the day differently, the Bible certainly has much to say about angels.
š āFor he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.ā ā Psalm 91:11 KJV
But rememberāour trust and worship belong to God, not angels.
Angels are His servants. God is our protector, provider, Savior, and Lord.
What a comfort to know that nothing happening in our lives escapes His attention.

š” HERITAGE CORNER ā THE FAMILY BIBLE
Years ago, one of the most treasured possessions in many homes was the family Bible.
It wasn't always tucked away on a bookshelf.
It might sit on the living-room table where everyone could see it. Inside its pages, families sometimes recorded births, marriages, and deaths. Photographs, funeral cards, handwritten notes, and little pieces of family history might find their way between its pages.
But the greatest treasure wasn't the book itself.
It was the Word inside it.
Grandparents taught grandchildren Scripture. Mothers prayed over their children. Fathers read God's Word to their families. Bible verses were memorized and carried through difficult seasons.
Friends, that is a heritage worth passing down.
š āAnd these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children...ā ā Deuteronomy 6:6ā7 KJV
ā¤ļø Heritage Question:Does your family have an old family Bible? Who did it belong to, and is there anything special written or tucked inside its pages?

š TODAY'S BIBLE READING
Galatians 6:7ā10 KJV
Pay special attention today to verse 9:
āAnd let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.ā
Maybe you need those words this morning.
Don't quit in the waiting season.

š¾ TODAY'S INSPIRATION ā YOUR HARVEST MAY TAKE TIME
Have you ever planted something and checked it the next morning?
Nothing.
The next day?
Still nothing.
But underneath that soil, something may already be happening.
Roots are forming before anything ever breaks through the ground.
I think our lives can be like that.
We pray and don't see an answer.
We work and don't see results.
We pour into someone and don't see change.
We obey God and wonder why the door hasn't opened.
And we start thinking, āLord, is anything happening?ā
Maybe today God simply wants to remind somebody:
Just because you can't SEE it doesn't mean God isn't WORKING.
Some of God's greatest work happens where we cannot see it.
Keep watering those prayers.
Keep planting kindness.
Keep loving people.
Keep serving.
Keep trusting.
And when you become tired, remember:
The harvest belongs to God. Your job is to remain faithful.
I've learned through many seasons of my own life that God's timing doesn't always look like mine.
But over and over again, He reminds me:
ā¤ļø God is right on time!

š LET'S PRAY TOGETHER
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for waking us up this morning and giving us another day.
Lord, some of us have been praying for something for a very long time. We have planted, watered, waited, and wondered when the answer would come.
Help us not become weary.
When we cannot see what You are doing, give us faith to trust that You are still working.
Bless our families today. Comfort those who are grieving. Strengthen those who are tired. Provide for those struggling financially. Touch those who are sick. Encourage the lonely and give peace to those carrying burdens nobody else knows about.
Help us be kind today. Put someone in our path whom we can encourage, and give us the courage to stop long enough to do it.
Thank You for Your Word, Your mercy, Your grace, and Your faithfulness.
In Jesus' precious name,
Amen. ā¤ļø
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
