"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."— Joshua 1:9 (KJV)
🌅 Good Morning, Friends!
Happy Friday!
We've reached the end of another week, and what a wonderful journey August has already been.
This week we've discovered that God created us with purpose, equipped us with unique gifts, opened doors according to His perfect timing, and reminded us that He delights in using ordinary people.
Yet there is one obstacle that often keeps us from stepping into God's calling...
Fear.
Fear whispers:
"What if I fail?"
"What if I'm not good enough?"
"What if people don't understand?"
"What if I make a mistake?"
But faith asks a different question:
"What if God is already preparing the way?"
Throughout Scripture, whenever God called someone to something greater, He almost always followed His calling with the words, "Fear not."
God never promised that the journey would be easy.
He promised that He would go with us.
If God is calling you to take a step of faith today, remember that His presence is greater than your fears.

Joshua 1:6–9 (KJV)
"Be strong and of a good courage...
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid... for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."
Joshua was about to lead an entire nation into the Promised Land.
What an overwhelming responsibility!
Yet God didn't tell Joshua to rely on his own strength.
He reminded him of the greatest source of courage:
God's presence.
The same promise is true for us today.
Wherever God leads you...
He will also walk beside you.

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."— John 15:13 (KJV)
🎉 Today's Holidays
Today is a wonderful reminder to slow down and enjoy God's blessings.
🍓 National Raspberry and Cream Day — Enjoy a simple summertime treat with someone you love.
🌻 Take time today to appreciate the beauty of God's creation—watch a sunrise, enjoy a quiet walk, or sit on the porch with your Bible and a cup of coffee.
Sometimes God's greatest messages are heard in life's quietest moments.
🌻 Inspiration for Today
Fear will always tell you to stay where it's comfortable.
Faith will invite you to step where God is leading.
You don't need to know every detail before you obey.
You only need to know the One who is leading you.
The first step may seem small...
But it could become the beginning of the greatest chapter of your life.
Don't allow fear to keep you from experiencing all that God has prepared for you.
Walk forward.
God is already there.
🙏 Today's Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for reminding us that we never walk alone.
When fear tries to overwhelm us, replace it with faith.
When doubt fills our minds, remind us of Your promises.
When opportunities arise, give us the courage to step forward with confidence, knowing that You are leading every step.
Bless every person reading this today.
Strengthen the weary.
Comfort those who grieve.
Heal those who are sick.
Protect our families.
Guide our leaders.
Watch over those who serve our communities and our nation.
May our lives reflect Your love, and may we boldly walk in the calling You have prepared for us.
In Jesus' precious name,
Amen.
