"Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid."— Matthew 5:14 (KJV)
☀️ Good Tuesday Morning, Friends!
Happy Tuesday!
Have you ever noticed how one small light can completely change a dark room?
No matter how deep the darkness may seem, light always makes a difference.
As followers of Christ, we are called to be lights in a world that often feels overwhelmed by fear, division, uncertainty, and heartache.
Sometimes we think our light isn't bright enough.
We wonder whether our words matter.
We question whether our prayers make a difference.
We compare ourselves to others and convince ourselves that we're too ordinary to have an impact.
But Jesus never said we had to be famous.
He never said we needed thousands of followers.
He simply said:
"Ye are the light of the world."
Your kindness matters.
Your testimony matters.
Your prayers matter.
Your encouragement matters.
And the light God placed inside of you may be exactly what someone else needs today.
📖 Today's Bible Reading
Matthew 5:13–16 (KJV)
"Ye are the light of the world."
"Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick."
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
Light was never meant to be hidden.
God didn't place His love within us so we could keep it to ourselves.
He calls us to shine.
Sometimes that means sharing a Bible verse.
Sometimes it means offering a prayer.
Sometimes it means extending forgiveness.
And sometimes it simply means showing kindness to someone who desperately needs it.
You don't have to illuminate the entire world.
You only need to brighten the place where God has planted you.

🇺🇸 Heritage & Legacy
A Legacy of Light
When we think about heritage, we often think about traditions, photographs, and family stories.
But perhaps the greatest legacy we can leave behind is the example of a life lived for Christ.
Will our children remember that we prayed?
Will our grandchildren remember that we loved others?
Will our friends remember that we encouraged them?
The light we shine today may continue to illuminate the lives of future generations.
"The righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance."— Psalm 112:6 (KJV)
