Welcome to another beautiful day the Lord has made!

Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee, taking a quiet break before work, or winding down after a busy morning, I'm so thankful you've chosen to spend a few moments with me.

My prayer is that Agape Love Daily becomes more than something you simply read. I hope it becomes part of your daily routine—a place where you can grow in your faith, learn something new, smile a little, and be reminded that God is always working in your life.

📖 Today's Bible Reading

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

These verses have comforted believers for generations.

Life doesn't always make sense.

Sometimes doors close.

Plans change.

Dreams take unexpected turns.

Yet God reminds us that we don't have to understand every detail—we simply need to trust the One who already knows the ending.

He sees tomorrow while we're still trying to figure out today.

Whatever you're facing this morning, know that God is already there.

Keep trusting.

Keep believing.

Keep walking by faith.

🛍️ Independent Retailer Month celebrates the small businesses that strengthen our communities. When you support local businesses, you're often supporting families, dreams, and neighbors who care deeply about the people they serve.

July 13, 1787 – The Northwest Ordinance was adopted by the Continental Congress. This landmark legislation encouraged education, religious liberty, and good government as the United States continued to grow.

History reminds us that every generation has an opportunity to build something meaningful for those who follow.

Summer has a way of reminding us to slow down and notice God's goodness.

Here in beautiful North Carolina, we've experienced several days of triple-digit temperatures!

Never underestimate how God can use one conversation, one smile, one invitation to church, or one act of compassion to change someone's life forever.

Choose kindness.

Choose Jesus.

For those who may be new here, welcome!

My name is Sarah Skaggs, and I'm just a simple country girl born and raised in Ohio who now proudly calls North Carolina home.

I'm a wife, mom, MawMaw, minister, grief counselor, author, business owner, and I recently completed my Bachelor of Arts in Business. I also work full-time at TDS, where I recently stepped into a new leadership role.

More than anything else, I simply want people to know Jesus.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for another beautiful day and for the opportunity to draw closer to You.

Help us to trust You with every step we take, even when we don't understand where the road is leading.

Thank You for the lessons of history, the blessings of our heritage, and the hope we have through Jesus Christ.

May our lives become a testimony of Your goodness.

Help us to encourage others, love generously, forgive quickly, and shine Your light everywhere we go.

Bless every family reading this today.

Bring peace to the anxious...

Healing to the hurting...

Comfort to the grieving...

Strength to the weary...

And joy to every heart.

May everything we do bring honor and glory to You.
