I pray you're having a wonderful week so far. Whether you're heading to work, enjoying a quiet morning with a cup of coffee, or taking a few moments to slow down, I'm thankful you're here.

Every new day is a gift from God. It brings fresh opportunities to love, serve, learn, and grow. Sometimes we become so focused on tomorrow that we miss the blessings God has placed right in front of us today.

Let's take a few moments together to open God's Word, learn something new from history, celebrate our heritage, and be encouraged for the day ahead.

📖 Today's Bible Reading

Psalm 37:4–5 (KJV)

"Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass."

One of the greatest lessons we learn as Christians is that when we delight ourselves in God, our hearts begin to desire the things that matter most to Him.

God isn't simply interested in giving us what we want.

He wants to transform our hearts so that our greatest desire becomes walking with Him.

As we trust Him, He opens doors, provides direction, and faithfully works behind the scenes in ways we often cannot see.

Keep trusting.

Keep praying.

His timing is always perfect.

July 15, 1799

The Rosetta Stone was discovered in Egypt by French soldiers. This remarkable find helped scholars unlock the meaning of ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics, opening a window into thousands of years of history.

Its discovery reminds us that understanding the past helps us better appreciate the present.

As Christians, we are thankful that God's Word has never needed to be "rediscovered." Through every generation, the Bible continues to reveal His truth, His love, and His plan of salvation.

Summer reminds us that some of life's greatest blessings aren't things—they're moments spent with the people we love.

God doesn't ask us to know every step.

He simply asks us to trust Him with the next one.

Sometimes the greatest miracles happen while we're faithfully walking one day at a time.

If you're waiting on an answered prayer…

Don't lose heart.

If you're beginning something new…

Walk by faith.

If you're facing uncertainty…

Remember that the God who has carried you this far will not leave you now.

He is still writing your story.

And His plans are always good.

🙏 Today's Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for another beautiful day and for the opportunity to walk with You.

Teach us to delight ourselves in You above all else. Help us to trust Your timing, follow Your leading, and remain faithful in every season of life.

Thank You for the blessings of family, friendships, and the freedoms we enjoy. Help us to leave a legacy of faith, kindness, and love that points others to Jesus.

Bless every person reading today. Bring peace to troubled hearts, healing to those who are hurting, comfort to those who grieve, and strength to those who are weary.

May we honor You in everything we do.

In Jesus' precious name,
