🌅 A New Week, A New Page
Scripture
"It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."— Lamentations 3:22–23 (KJV)
Good Monday morning, authors!
There's something beautiful about the beginning of a new week.
A fresh Monday feels a little like opening a brand-new notebook. The pages are clean, the possibilities are endless, and we haven't made any mistakes on them yet.
Maybe last week didn't go quite as planned.
Perhaps you didn't finish the chapter.
Maybe you didn't meet your word-count goal.
Perhaps you started doubting whether your book was good enough.
Maybe life became busy, and writing was pushed to the side.
Or perhaps you simply lost your inspiration.
That's okay. Today is a new day.
God's Word reminds us that His mercies are new every morning.
That means yesterday's frustration doesn't have to become today's discouragement.
✍️ Turn the Page
Authors understand something special about pages.
We know one difficult chapter isn't the entire story.
When a character faces heartbreak, we keep reading because we know the story isn't finished.
When something unexpected happens, we turn the page because we want to see what happens next.
Friend, do the same with your own journey.
Turn the page.
Don't spend Monday staring at what you didn't accomplish last week.
Look at what God is giving you today.
A new morning.
A new opportunity.
A new week.
A fresh page.
And another chance to say:
"Lord, use my words."
💜 You Don't Have to Start Perfectly
Sometimes we wait for the perfect moment to begin.
The perfect title.
The perfect opening sentence.
The perfect writing space.
The perfect schedule.
The perfect inspiration.
But books aren't written through perfect moments.
They're written through faithful ones.
Maybe today you only write 100 words.
Write them.
Maybe you finally outline the chapter you've been avoiding.
Do it.
Maybe you pull out a manuscript you haven't touched in months.
Open it.
Maybe God has been whispering a completely new story into your heart.
Write the first sentence.
You don't have to finish today. You simply have to begin.
🌱 God Can Do Something New
"Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?"— Isaiah 43:19 (KJV)
Never become so attached to yesterday's plan that you miss what God wants to do today.
Sometimes He changes the direction.
Sometimes He gives us a new idea.
Sometimes He closes one door and opens another.
Sometimes the manuscript we thought we were writing becomes something completely different.
Let Him lead.
You hold the pen.
But let God direct the story.
🙏 Monday Author Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of a new morning and a brand-new week.
Thank You that yesterday's mistakes, disappointments, and unfinished work do not determine what You can accomplish through us today.
Give us fresh ideas, renewed energy, and courage to begin again.
Guide our thoughts and our words. Help us stop comparing our journey to others and faithfully work on what You have placed before us.
May everything we write bring encouragement, hope, truth, and ultimately glory to You.
Bless every author who feels discouraged today. Remind them that their story isn't finished.
In Jesus' precious name,
Amen.
✍️ Monday Author Challenge
Let's start this week differently.
Choose ONE writing goal for this week.
Not ten.
Just one.
Maybe yours is:
📖 Finish one chapter.
✍️ Write 500 words.
📝 Outline your next book.
📚 Edit five pages.
💻 Return to an unfinished manuscript.
🙏 Spend time praying about what God wants you to write next.
Then write your goal somewhere you'll see it every day.
Small faithful steps become finished books.
💜 Monday Author Roll Call!
Let's start this new week encouraging each other!
What are you working on this week?
Drop your project in the comments.
Tell us:
📚 What are you writing?
✍️ What's your goal for this week?
🙏 Is there anything we can pray about for you?
And don't just post your own project—find another author in the comments and encourage them too!
Let's build a community where writers don't compete with one another.
We pray for one another. We encourage one another. We celebrate one another. And we keep writing together.
🌅 Today's Encouragement
"Yesterday's unfinished page is not today's failure. God gave you a new morning, a new week, and another blank page. Pick up the pen and begin again."
Author, your story isn't over.
Your calling hasn't expired.
Your dream isn't too late.
And the blank page in front of you isn't something to fear.
It's an invitation.
A new week.A new start.A new page.
Let's see what God writes through you.
Happy Monday & Happy Writing! 💜📖✍️
