Rest, Reflect, and Rejoice in the Journey ✨

📖 Scripture (KJV)

Psalm 46:10“Be still, and know that I am God…”

Philippians 1:6“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”

Psalm 23:3“He restoreth my soul…”

✍️ Devotional Thought

The weekend has arrived.

Another week of writing…

Another week of dreaming…

Another week of trusting God with the story He has placed upon your heart.

And perhaps the greatest gift you can give yourself this weekend is permission to pause.

Not because you're quitting.

Not because you're giving up.

But because even writers need rest.

Jesus often stepped away from the crowds to spend time with His Father.

He understood that rest is not weakness.

Rest is renewal.

Psalm 46 reminds us to simply be still.

Not every moment needs to be productive.

Not every day needs to end with another chapter completed.

Sometimes God does His greatest work in the quiet moments.

Psalm 23 reminds us that He restores our souls.

When creativity feels dry…

When the pressure feels heavy…

When discouragement tries to creep in…

God offers renewal.

And Philippians reminds us that the work He began in you is not finished.

The story is still unfolding.

The dream is still alive.

And the Author of your life is still holding the pen.

So this weekend…

🌿 Rest without guilt.

🌿 Reflect on how far God has brought you.

🌿 Rejoice in the progress you've made.

🌿 And trust Him with the chapters yet to come.

Because writing is not just about reaching the finish line.

It's about walking faithfully with the One who gave you the vision.

🌿 Weekend Reflection

💜 What victories can I thank God for this week?

💜 Have I been trying to carry too much on my own?

💜 How can I rest and renew my spirit this weekend?

💜 What dreams do I need to place back into God's hands?

🙏 Prayer

Father,

Thank You for carrying me through another week. Thank You for every lesson, every word, and every opportunity You have given me. Help me to find rest in Your presence and peace in Your promises. Restore my spirit, renew my creativity, and remind me that You are still writing something beautiful through my life.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

💜 Weekend Author Encouragement

Rest.

Reflect.

Rejoice.

And remember…

✨ You don't have to carry the whole story.

The Author of your life already knows how it ends. ✍️📖💜🌿🍃
