The weekend is here…

And God is gently inviting you to step away—

Not from your calling…But from the pressure.

Writing is a beautiful gift…

But it can also become heavy when we carry it in our own strength.

Deadlines.Expectations.Goals we’ve set for ourselves.

And before long, what once brought joy…

Starts to feel like weight.

That’s why Jesus said, “Come apart… and rest.”

Not quit.Not give up.

Just rest.

Because rest is not a pause in your purpose—

It’s part of it.

Psalm 23 reminds us that God restores our soul.

That includes your creativity.Your peace.Your passion to write.

And John 15 reminds us of something so important—

Without Him, we can do nothing.

That means your best writing…

Doesn’t come from striving.

It comes from staying connected to Him.

So this weekend…

Take time to refill.

💜 Sit in His presence💜 Reflect on your journey💜 Release any pressure you’ve been carrying

And if you write…

Let it come from peace, not pressure.

Because when your soul is restored…

Your words will follow.
