💜 Agape Love Weekend Grief Support Devotional 💜🌿 June 5 • June 6 • June 7, 2026“The Love Remains”

📖 Scripture (KJV)

“Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it...”— Song of Solomon 8:7

🌿 Weekend Devotional Thought

One of the greatest gifts God gives us is the ability to love.

And one of the hardest parts of grief is learning what to do with that love after someone is gone.

You still love them.

You still think about them.

You still miss them.

And sometimes you may wonder where all that love is supposed to go.

The beautiful truth is this:

Love does not end when a life on earth ends.

The relationship changes.

The conversations change.

The physical presence is gone.

But the love remains.

Song of Solomon tells us that many waters cannot quench love.

Not time.

Not distance.

Not even death.

The love you shared with your loved one is still a part of who you are.

It shows up in the stories you tell.

The traditions you continue.

The lessons you pass on.

The kindness you show others.

The strength you discovered because of them.

This weekend, instead of focusing only on what has been lost, take time to reflect on what remains.

The memories remain.

The impact remains.

The lessons remain.

And most of all—

The love remains.

And that love is one of the greatest gifts God has entrusted to your heart.

🤍 Weekend Prayer

Lord,

Thank You for the gift of love. Thank You for the people who have touched our lives and left their fingerprints on our hearts. When grief feels heavy, help us remember that love never truly disappears. Help us cherish the memories, honor their legacy, and find comfort in knowing that the love we shared remains.

In Jesus' Name, Amen.
