✍️ Author Devotional – November 19, 2025Theme: Words Led by Wisdom

Words Led by Wisdom Scripture:“ If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God… and it shall be given him.” — James 1:5 (KJV)

Every writer reaches moments where the right words feel just out of reach — when you’re unsure how to begin, where to go next, or how to express what God has placed in your heart. But the beauty of writing for the Lord is this: you never have to find the words alone.

God doesn’t expect you to rely on your own skill or understanding. He invites you to ask — to pause, breathe, and seek His wisdom. And He promises that when you ask, He will give generously, not sparingly.

Divine wisdom will guide your tone, your message, and even the timing of what you write. Wisdom brings clarity when your thoughts feel scattered. Wisdom brings peace when pressure rises. Wisdom brings direction when ideas seem cloudy.

When you seek God’s wisdom before you write, your words become more than creativity — they become ministry. They begin to reveal His heart, His truth, and His comfort to every reader who encounters them.

Your writing is not just a craft — it is a calling. And God will always give you the wisdom needed to walk in it.

Reflection Prayer:

Lord, I ask You for wisdom today — wisdom in my writing, in my thoughts, and in my decisions. Guide my words so they reflect Your heart and bring encouragement, clarity, and truth to those who read them. Thank You for giving wisdom generously when I ask. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge:Before you begin writing, pray this simple prayer:“Lord, give me wisdom for every word.”Then write with confidence, knowing God is guiding your thoughts.
