✍️ Author Devotional – October 29, 2025Theme: Your Words Matter to God Scripture:

Your Words Matter to God Scripture: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” — Proverbs 18:21 (KJV)

Every word you write carries weight. Whether it’s a story, poem, devotional, or letter, your words have the power to bring hope, healing, and truth — or to discourage, divide, and destroy. As Christian authors, we are entrusted with a sacred responsibility: to speak life.

In a world filled with noise and negativity, your God-inspired words become light in the darkness. You may not realize it, but the paragraph you almost didn’t write might be the very one that leads someone to Christ, restores a weary heart, or reminds a soul that they are loved.

The enemy would love to convince you that your words don’t matter — that no one is listening or that your message is too small. But that’s a lie. God gave you this gift for a purpose. When you write with His Spirit leading you, your words become vessels of eternal impact.

So, write boldly. Speak truth with love. And remember that even when you can’t see the fruit, God is using your faithfulness to plant seeds in unseen soil.

Reflection Prayer:

Father, thank You for entrusting me with the power of words. Help me to use them wisely — to encourage, uplift, and glorify You. Let everything I write reflect Your truth and love, and may my words bring life to every heart that reads them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge: Before you begin writing today, ask God to guard your heart and guide your words. Pray this simple prayer: “Lord, help me to write words that bring life.” Then, trust Him to do the rest.
