Good morning, ! 🤠We’re heading into the weekend with a warm, comforting, crowd-pleasing mealĀ that feels like home after a long week.

This chuckwagon favorite combines tender chicken, creamy filling, and golden biscuits—all baked together in one hearty dish.

šŸ—šŸ„ Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or cubed)

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits

šŸ”„ Chuckwagon Cooking Instructions

1ļøāƒ£ Preheat oven or Dutch oven to 375°F.

2ļøāƒ£ In a large bowl, mix chicken, cream of chicken soup, milk, vegetables, and seasonings.

3ļøāƒ£ Pour mixture into a greased cast iron skillet or Dutch oven.

4ļøāƒ£ Place biscuits evenly on top of the mixture.

5ļøāƒ£ Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until biscuits are golden brown and filling is bubbly.

šŸ„„ Chuckwagon Serving Tip

Serve hot right from the skillet—this one is a full meal all on its own!

Optional sides:

  • Simple green beans

  • Side salad

⭐ Campfire Tip

If cooking outdoors, use a Dutch oven with coals on top and bottom for even baking—this helps biscuits cook perfectly golden.

šŸ’œ Miss Sarah’s Kitchen Encouragement

After a long week, God gives us rest—not just for our bodies, but for our hearts.

Take time this weekend to slow down, breathe, and thank Him for carrying you through.

šŸ“– Scripture for Today

ā€œCome unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.ā€ā€” Matthew 11:28 (KJV)
