Craft: âCandy Cane Heart Ornamentâ â¤ď¸đŹâ¨
Theme:Â Celebrating the sweet love of Jesus â the One who came to save us.
This is a fun, easy craft that looks adorable on any tree!
â¤ď¸ What Youâll Need:
Two mini candy canes
Hot glue gun
Red ribbon or bakerâs twine
Mini jingle bell (optional)
Small tag or sticker
Cardstock heart (optional backing)
Optional decorations:
Glitter
Mini greenery sprigs
Tiny cross charm
⨠Directions:
1. Form the Heart
Place two candy canes together so the curved tops form a heart.Use a small dab of hot glue at the top and bottom tips to secure them.
2. Add Backing (Optional)
Cut a small heart from cardstock and glue it to the back for extra stability, especially if gifting or mailing.
3. Add Ribbon
Tie a red ribbon or bakerâs twine around the top to form a hanger.You can also make a bow and glue it to the front.
4. Decorate
Give your ornament extra charm with:
A small jingle bell
A tiny cross charm
A sprig of faux greenery
A glitter outline
A tag that says âJesus,â âLove,â or âJoyâ
