Craft: āLittle Drummer Boy Tin Can Drum OrnamentāĀ š„āØ
Theme:Ā A joyful reminder that every gift we give ā big or small ā is beautiful when given to Jesus.
This craft is cute, inexpensive, and looks AMAZING on a Christmas tree!
ā¤ļø What Youāll Need:
Small tin canĀ (tuna can, small veggie can, or cat food can washed well)
Red, green, or gold paint
Gold string or twine
Toothpicks or mini dowels
Small wooden beadsĀ (drumstick ends)
Hot glue gun
Ribbon
Optional:
Glitter
Gold tape
Mini āLittle Drummer Boyā tag
⨠Directions:
1. Prepare the Drum Base
Paint your tin can in red, green, white, or gold.Let dry completely.
2. Add Drum āTrimā
Use gold string, ribbon, or washi tape to wrap around the top and bottom edges of the drum.
3. Add Drum Crisscross Pattern
Glue gold string or twine in an āXā pattern around the sides of the can ā classic drum style!
4. Make the Drumsticks
Attach wooden beads to the tops of toothpicks or mini dowels
Paint the sticks if you want them to match
Tie them together with string and glue them on top of the drum or hang them on the side
5. Add the Hanger
Glue a loop of ribbon or twine to the top so it can hang on your Christmas tree.
6. Optional Decor
Add glitter
Attach a tiny star
Add a tag that says āPa Rum Pum Pum PumāĀ or āI Play My Best for Himā
