Theme:Â Godâs Love Reached Us Where We Are
Scripture:âIn this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.ââ 1 John 4:9 (KJV)
Reflection:As Christmas draws very near, we are reminded that the story of Jesusâ birth is, at its heart, a story of love that came down. God did not wait for us to reach Him. He came to usâright where we were.
He came down into brokenness. He came down into need.He came down into a world longing for hope.
The manger is proof that Godâs love is not distant or conditional. It is personal. It is sacrificial. It is willing to step into the mess so that we could have life, healing, and restoration.
Jesus didnât come because the world was readyâHe came because the world was desperate for love. And that same love still reaches for us today. No matter where you are, no matter what youâre carrying, His love meets you there.
Christmas reminds us that love is not just something God givesâlove is who God is.
Meditation:Take a quiet moment and reflect on this truth:God loved me enough to come for me.Let gratitude fill your heart.
Prayer:Father, thank You for loving me so deeply that You sent Your Son. As Christmas approaches, help me never lose sight of the miracle of Your love. Let that love heal my heart, renew my hope, and overflow into the lives of those around me. In Jesusâ name, Amen. đ
