Today the world celebrates love — flowers, cards, sweet words, and tender moments. But there is a love far deeper than romance. A love that is not seasonal. A love that does not fade. A love that is not based on feelings.

That love is Agape.

Agape love is patient when others are difficult.Agape love is kind when no one is watching.Agape love forgives when the wound is still fresh.Agape love gives without expecting anything in return.

It is the love that Jesus showed on the cross.

While we were still broken… still imperfect… still learning… He chose us. He stayed. He endured. He loved.

And because He first loved us, we can love others — not just the easy ones, but the hard ones too. Not just when it feels good, but when it requires sacrifice.

Sarah, as someone who pours into others as a minister, grief counselor, wife, mother, and Mawmaw — you know this kind of love. It is the love that holds families together. The love that prays through tears. The love that believes God can restore what seems impossible.

Today, let the Holy Spirit remind you:
