☕ Good Morning, Family & Friends

As I was sitting here this morning drinking my coffee, something really settled into my heart:
Procrastination can be a dream killer.
How many times have we felt God placing something on our hearts, but instead of moving forward, we begin telling ourselves:
"I can't do this.""What if I don't succeed?""What will people think?""What if they laugh at me?""Maybe I'll start tomorrow."
I've realized something about myself: sometimes what I call procrastination is actually fear.
Fear of failing. Fear of being judged. Fear of stepping outside of what is comfortable. And when I allow those fears to stop me, I'm focusing more on what I can't do than on what God can do through me.
That's not the kind of life I want to live.
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." — 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV
So my prayer this morning is simple:
Lord, help me overcome procrastination. Help me stop allowing fear to delay what You have placed in my heart. Give me the courage to take the first step, even when I can't see the whole staircase. Help me trust Your direction more than I trust my fears. Amen.
Maybe someone else needs this reminder today too.
You don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. You don't have to know exactly how everything will work.
Pray. Trust God. Take the first step.
That book, ministry, business, education, career move, dream, or calling God has placed on your heart may be waiting on the other side of one courageous decision:
START.
Today I'm challenging myself—and I'm challenging you:
What is one thing you've been putting off because of fear?
Let's stop saying "one day" and start saying, "With God's help, today I will take one step." ❤️
