“The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.”— Psalm 145:8 (KJV)
Grief can make you feel like you should be further along than you are.You may wonder why certain days still feel heavy, why tears still come, or why some moments seem harder than expected. But God never measures your healing by a timeline.
He is patient with your heart.
God understands that healing is not a straight path. Some days bring peace, others bring pain—but none of it surprises Him. His compassion meets you in every step, never rushing, never pressuring, never disappointed.
You are not failing because you still grieve. You are healing in the way love heals—slowly, deeply, honestly.
God’s mercy covers the days you feel strong and the days you feel fragile. He walks beside you with gentleness, reminding you that every tear matters and every step forward—no matter how small—is precious.
Today, release the pressure to “be okay.”Let God be gracious with your heart.Let His mercy surround you.And trust that healing is happening, even when you can’t yet see it.
You are exactly where God is walking with you.
đź’› Prayer:
Lord,Thank You for being patient with my healing. When I feel overwhelmed or discouraged, remind me of Your compassion and mercy. Help me trust Your timing and rest in the knowledge that You are gently restoring my heart, one day at a time.In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
