đ Daily Devotional â Hope Has a Name
Theme:Â Jesus, the Fulfillment of Every Promise
Scripture: âAnd thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.ââ Matthew 1:21 (KJV)
Reflection As Christmas draws nearer, our hearts are gently reminded that hope is not an idea, a feeling, or a wishâit has a name. Jesus.
In a world weighed down by sin, sorrow, and brokenness, God did not leave us to struggle alone. He sent a Savior. Not a temporary fix. Not a distant answer. But a living, breathing expression of His love.
Jesus came to save, to restore, to redeem. He came to lift burdens we could never carry. He came to heal hearts that felt beyond repair.
The name Jesus means âThe Lord saves,â and that truth still holds power today. Whatever you are carryingâregret, fear, grief, uncertaintyâHe came for that. Christmas reminds us that God stepped into our mess, our weakness, and our humanity so that we could step into forgiveness, freedom, and hope.
Hope doesnât depend on how strong you feel or how perfect your life looks. Hope rests in the One who came to save. And His name is Jesus.
Meditation: Quiet your heart for a moment and simply speak His name: Jesus. Let peace, gratitude, and hope rise as you remember who He is and why He came.
Prayer: Father, thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus. Thank You for sending a Savior who meets us in our brokenness and offers us hope that never fades. As Christmas approaches, help me keep my heart focused on Him. Let His name be my comfort, my peace, and my joy today. In Jesusâ name, Amen. đ
