šŸ Daily Devotional – October 5, 2025 šŸTheme: Be Still and Trust God

Scripture (KJV):ā€œBe still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.ā€ – Psalm 46:10

Reflection: Life moves fast, and sometimes it feels like we’re caught in a storm of busyness, worry, or fear. The enemy wants to keep our minds racing—filling us with doubt, anxiety, and exhaustion. But God whispers, ā€œBe still.ā€Ā Those two words are not a suggestion; they are an invitation to peace.

To ā€œbe stillā€ doesn’t mean to do nothing—it means to stop striving in our own strength and start trusting in His. When we quiet our hearts before God, we make space to hear His voice. When we rest in His presence, we are reminded that He is still in control, even when life feels out of control.

There have been times in my own life when everything around me seemed to crumble, yet God stood firm. His peace covered me when I couldn’t understand what was happening. His strength carried me when mine was gone. That’s what it means to know that He is God.

He doesn’t change with our circumstances. He doesn’t grow weary when we do. He remains faithful—always. So today, take a deep breath, release your worries into His hands, and rest in the truth that He is God, and He is good.

Devotional Thought: When you can’t see the way forward, be still—God is already working it out.

Prayer: Father, thank You for being my peace in the chaos. Help me to be still before You, trusting that You are in control. Quiet my anxious thoughts and fill me with the calm assurance that You are my refuge, my strength, and my hope. I will rest in Your presence today and trust Your perfect plan. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
