Theme: Don’t Let the Enemy Steal Your Dreams

Scripture (KJV):ā€œThe thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.ā€ – John 10:10

Reflection: Satan is the dream thief. His mission is to discourage, deceive, and distract Christians from walking in their God-given calling. He whispers lies of unworthiness, plants seeds of fear, and tries to chain us with doubt. His goal is to keep us sitting still, defeated, and far from the fullness of God’s plan.

But here’s the truth: you are not who the enemy says you are—you are who God says you are.Ā You are ā€œfearfully and wonderfully madeā€Ā (Psalm 139:14). You are ā€œmore than a conqueror through him that loved usā€Ā (Romans 8:37). And you can declare with boldness, ā€œI can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth meā€Ā (Philippians 4:13).

God never intended His children to shrink back in fear or wallow in discouragement. He placed inside each of us gifts and talents—unique, beautiful, and purposeful. Some gifts may seem small, but in God’s kingdom, no gift is wasted.

Think of the talents around you:

  • A husband who can fix anything mechanical, craft from wood, create from metal, and talk to anyone like an old friend.

  • Friends who can listen with compassion.

  • Others who cook meals that comfort weary souls.

  • Writers who pour truth into words.

  • Creators who build, paint, design, and inspire.

All of these are God-given talents. None of them are ordinary when used for His glory.

Encouragement:Don’t let Satan steal what God has entrusted to you. Rise up, even in discouragement, and keep striving. Your striving becomes someone else’s courage. When you walk in your calling, you inspire others to discover theirs.

Scriptures to Stand On:

  • 2 Timothy 1:7 – ā€œFor God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.ā€

  • Jeremiah 29:11 – ā€œFor I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.ā€

  • Galatians 6:9 – ā€œAnd let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.ā€

  • Ephesians 2:10 – ā€œFor we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.ā€

Devotional Thought:Satan may try to steal your joy, your courage, and your dreams, but he cannot touch the calling God has placed within you. Hold fast, rise up, and keep going—your life is a testimony that with Christ, you cannot fail.

Prayer:Lord, thank You for the gifts and talents You’ve given me. When discouragement comes, remind me of Your truth. Guard my heart from the lies of the enemy and strengthen me to walk boldly in the calling You have set before me. Use my gifts not just to bless my life, but to inspire and encourage others to rise into their full potential in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
