đż Daily Devotional: âYou Are Still Held in the Waitingâ
Scripture:
âWait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.ââ Psalm 27:14 (KJV)
Grief often places us in a season of waiting.Waiting for the ache to ease.Waiting for strength to return.Waiting for joy to feel natural again.
Waiting can feel lonely, uncertain, and exhaustingâespecially when your heart longs for what once was. But God reminds us today that waiting does not mean being abandoned.
While you wait, He is strengthening your heart. While you wait, He is walking beside you. While you wait, He is gently restoring what grief has worn thin.
You donât have to rush healing. You donât have to force joy.You donât have to pretend the pain isnât there.
Waiting on the Lord is not passiveâit is trusting that even in the stillness, God is working. He is shaping resilience, deepening faith, and pouring quiet courage into your spirit.
Today, let waiting be sacred.Let it be a place where God meets you with patience and love.Let your heart rest in the truth that you are not forgotten in this season.
You are held. You are strengthened. And God is faithfulâright here, right now.
đ Prayer:
Lord,Teach me to trust You in this season of waiting. When my heart feels weary or uncertain, strengthen me with Your presence. Help me rest in Your timing and remind me that You are working even when I cannot see it. Hold me close and give me peace today. In Jesusâ Name, Amen.
