**Easter Countdown – Day 19: "The Power of His Love"**
**Scripture Focus: Romans 5:8 (KJV)**
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
**Reflection:**
Today, let us pause and marvel at the unmatched, unearned, and unconditional love of God. Before we ever knew Him, while we were still far off—broken, lost, and stained by sin—Christ died for us. That is the kind of love no human heart could fully grasp, yet we are called to receive it in full.
Jesus didn’t wait until we had it all together. He didn’t say, "Once they repent, I’ll love them." No—He looked at the mess of our hearts and chose the cross anyway. That love changes everything. It breaks chains, heals wounds, and whispers, "You are mine." It’s not just love spoken; it’s love proven.
**Philippians 2:7-8 (KJV)**
"But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross."
**John 15:13 (KJV)**
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
Jesus laid everything down—not just for His friends, but for His enemies, too. For you. For me. This is the depth of God’s agape love.
**Today’s Prayer:**
Lord, thank You for loving me before I ever knew You. Thank You for the cross, for the blood, for Jesus. Teach me to walk in that love—not only to receive it but to share it. Let others see You through the way I love, forgive, and serve. Amen.
**Daily Challenge:**
Write a letter to Jesus today. Thank Him for all the ways His love has changed your life. Let your heart pour out in response to the gift of His sacrifice.
