**A New Month, A Fresh Start**

May begins with hope, fresh purpose, and a renewed call to walk in God’s will. Let us step into this new month with faith and expectancy, knowing the Lord goes before us.

*"Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."*


**🌍 National Holidays:**

- **National Day of Prayer (U.S.)** *(Observed the first Thursday in May – falls on May 1 in 2025)*: Join in uniting our nation in prayer. Whether in a church, community, or home—let’s lift up our leaders, families, schools, and nation.

- **May Day**: Traditionally a celebration of spring, renewal, and life. A joyful day to praise God for His creation blossoming around us!

- **National Lemonade Day**: A sweet reminder that God can take life’s lemons and turn them into something refreshing and good.


**📜 History and Heritage:**

- **1707**: The Act of Union is signed, officially uniting England and Scotland into Great Britain.

- **1884**: Construction begins on the first skyscraper in Chicago, introducing a new era of architectural innovation.

- **1931**: The Empire State Building is officially dedicated in New York City.
