🌿 February 14 Grief Support Devotional: “Love Does Not End” “Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it.”— Song of Solomon 8:7 (KJV)

“Love Does Not End” “Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it.”— Song of Solomon 8:7 (KJV)

For many, February 14th is a day filled with flowers, cards, and celebration. But for those who are grieving, it can be a reminder of love that feels distant—love once expressed in touch, laughter, conversation, and presence.

If today feels heavy, know this:

Love does not end.

It does not disappear when someone is no longer physically here. It does not fade with time. It does not lose its meaning because the calendar says “Valentine’s Day.”

The love you shared is still alive. It lives in your heart. It lives in your memories. It lives in the way you continue to care.

Grief is proof that love was real. And real love does not drown, even in sorrow.

Today, if you miss your spouse, your child, your parent, your friend—let that missing be wrapped in honor. Let it remind you that what you had was precious.

God sees your heart. He understands the ache behind today’s date. And He holds you close with the same love that never fails.

You are not without love today. You are carrying it.

đŸ€ Prayer

Lord,On this day that centers around love, comfort those who feel loss most deeply. Remind me that love never ends and that what I shared still matters. Wrap me in Your presence and help me carry love with peace instead of fear.In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
