Follow The Will Of God

šŸ“… Daily Devotion – March 28

🌿 Following the Will of God for Your Life

šŸ“– Scripture Reading:

ā€œI delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.ā€

— Psalm 40:8 (KJV)

šŸ•Š Devotional Thought:

There is no greater peace than walking in the will of God. Yet sometimes, His will doesn’t come with flashing lights or a loud voice—it often whispers through His Word, a prompting in our spirit, or doors He gently opens and closes.

Following God’s will requires surrender. It means letting go of our own plans and saying, ā€œNot my will, Lord, but Yours be done.ā€ It’s trusting that His path, even when unclear, leads to purpose and blessing. God’s will for your life isn’t a mystery to be solved—it’s a relationship to be lived. He desires daily communion with you so He can guide your steps one day at a time.

šŸ“Œ Remember: God’s will is not just about where you go—it’s about who you become along the way.

šŸ’” Reflection Question:

Am I actively listening and yielding to God’s direction in my life, or am I clinging to my own understanding?

šŸ™ Prayer:

Father, I long to walk in Your perfect will. Give me a heart that delights in Your ways and ears that are sensitive to Your voice. Help me lay down my agenda and trust that Your plans for me are good. Lead me step by step, and give me the courage to follow, even when the path is unfamiliar. I know You are faithful. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

šŸ“˜ Encouragement:

Spend time in prayer and scripture today, not just asking God for direction, but simply delighting in His presence. He reveals His will most clearly when we’re closest to His heart.
