Title:Â His Mercies Are New Every Morning
Scripture:âIt is of the Lordâs mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.ââ Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV)
Devotional Thought:Grief can make the nights long and the mornings harder. But the promise of God is that each day, His mercies are freshânew like the dew on the grass, steady like the rising sun. You are not being asked to carry all of your sorrow in one day. God gives daily strength for daily burdens.
You might feel weary today, but God is not weary of you. His compassions never fail. Even when you feel broken, forgotten, or aloneâHe sees you. He holds every tear and wraps each ache of your heart in His grace.
Take comfort in knowing that you donât have to have it all together. You simply have to show up, breathe, and receive the new mercies He has prepared for today.
Reflection Questions:
What mercy did God show you yesterday?
How can you open your heart to todayâs new mercies?
Prayer:Father, thank You for being the steady source of mercy in my grief. I donât have to have all the answersâI just need You. Thank You that Your compassion doesnât run out. Help me notice Your presence today and walk in Your peace. In Jesusâ name, Amen.
Encouragement to Share:đŹ âGodâs mercies are not recycledâtheyâre brand new, just for today.âShare this with someone who needs fresh hope this morning. âïžđïž
