🌅 Easter Countdown: 5 Days to Go
Holy Tuesday Devotional
As we journey through Holy Week, today we pause and reflect on the powerful events of Tuesday, just five days before the Resurrection.
On this day, Jesus spent time in the temple, teaching boldly and confronting hypocrisy. He didn’t shy away from truth—even when He knew it would lead Him to the cross. He spoke in parables, silenced critics, and shared deep truths about faith, the Kingdom of God, and the coming days.
📖 Scripture Focus:
“He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death—even to death on a cross.”
—Philippians 2:8
This verse reminds us of the strength found in surrender. Jesus chose obedience—not because it was easy, but because it was holy. He walked forward, step by step, toward suffering, out of a love so deep it rewrote eternity.
💬 Devotional Thought:
Holy Tuesday challenges us to ask ourselves:
➡️ Are we walking in obedience, even when it’s uncomfortable?
➡️ Do we stand for truth, even when it means standing alone?
➡️ Are we making room for His voice to guide us in this sacred week?
Let us not rush through Holy Week. Let us lean in—to the lessons, to the love, and to the cross that changed everything.
🕊️ Prayer:
Lord Jesus, as You taught in the temple and stood firm in truth, give us that same boldness. Help us walk in obedience, trusting Your plan even when we don’t see the full picture. As we count down to Easter, prepare our hearts to celebrate not just an empty tomb, but a full, surrendered life. Amen.
✨ 5 more days until we rejoice in the greatest victory ever won!
