In His Time

🌸 Daily Devotional – April 15, 2025

"In His Time"

Scripture:

"He has made everything beautiful in its time."

— Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NIV)

Devotion:

Waiting is hard. Especially when you’ve been praying, planning, and pouring your heart into something that still hasn’t come to pass. Whether it’s a breakthrough, healing, restoration, or direction—you might be asking, “When, Lord?”

Ecclesiastes 3:11 gently reminds us that God operates on a perfect timetable, not ours. He’s not slow, and He’s not rushed. He’s precise. Like a master gardener, He plants seeds in our lives and tends to them carefully. Some bloom in days. Others take years. But all of them—every single one—will be made beautiful in His time.

Your current season might feel messy, confusing, or stagnant. But just because you can’t see the movement doesn’t mean God isn’t working beneath the surface. Trust that His delays are not denials—they’re divine setups for something better than you imagined.

Let today be a reminder that God has not forgotten you. He is shaping something beautiful out of what you’re walking through right now. Trust Him. His timing is perfect.

Reflection Questions:

What are you waiting on God for right now?

How has God shown up in your life at “just the right time” in the past?

What does trusting God’s timing look like for you today?

Prayer:

Lord, I confess that waiting isn’t easy. I want to see the answers, the miracles, the fruit—now. But I trust that You know best. Help me surrender my timelines and expectations to You. Give me peace in the waiting and hope in the process. I believe that You are making all things beautiful, even when I can’t see it yet. In Jesus’ name, amen.
