In Quietness and Confidence

**Daily Devotional: May 5, 2025**

**Title: "In Quietness and Confidence"**

**Scripture (KJV):**

*"In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength."*

— Isaiah 30:15b

**Reflection:**

Life often pushes us to move faster, do more, and carry heavier loads. But God invites us into something far different—*quietness and confidence.* In the still moments, where the noise of the world fades, God whispers His truth to our hearts.

True strength isn’t found in striving, but in resting in the One who holds it all. Confidence doesn’t come from having everything figured out, but from knowing the One who does.

You don’t have to run ahead today. You don’t have to prove your worth. Simply return to Him. Rest in Him. Be still and know that He is God.

**Encouragement:**

Let today be marked by peace. Let go of the rush and lean into the quiet. Your strength will rise not from doing more, but from trusting deeper. God is working in the stillness. Rest in His presence.

**Prayer:**

Lord, thank You for calling me to quietness and confidence. Help me to rest in You today. Let my heart be still, my mind be calm, and my soul be anchored in Your promises. Remind me that You are enough. In Jesus' name, Amen.
