🌿 Daily Devotional – Trusting God When the Way Is Unfolding

Theme: Obedience Even When the Process Is Uncomfortable

Scripture: “And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.”— Exodus 7:3 (KJV)

Reflection: God’s deliverance does not always come all at once. Often, it unfolds step by step—through persistence, patience, and continued obedience. As Moses stood before Pharaoh, it may have appeared that things were getting harder instead of better. Yet God was still very much in control.

Sometimes the process feels confusing. Sometimes progress looks slow. Sometimes obedience doesn’t bring immediate relief.

But God was revealing His power—not just to Pharaoh, but to His own people. Each step, each sign, each moment was building toward freedom. What felt like resistance was actually preparation for a greater deliverance.

As we walk through this new week, remember this truth: God is working even when the way forward feels uncomfortable. Obedience is not about immediate results—it’s about trusting God’s purpose in the process.

If today feels harder than expected, don’t lose heart. God is still unfolding His plan, and His timing is always perfect.

Meditation: Pause and reflect: Where do I need to trust God’s process instead of rushing the outcome? Offer that place of impatience or uncertainty to Him.

Prayer: Father, thank You for being faithful in every step of the journey. When I don’t understand the process, help me trust You completely. Give me patience, courage, and obedience as You continue Your work in my life. I place this day and this week fully in Your hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 💜
