Rolling With Grace: The Adventure Begins

The time has finally come — tomorrow we hit the road for our New Orleans adventure!

If you know us, you know we don't just travel — we roll with grace, faith, and maybe a little caffeine to keep us going. Every trip brings its own challenges, but it also brings some of the most beautiful moments.

This trip has been on our hearts for a while now. New Orleans — full of history, music, food, and culture — has always been a place we’ve wanted to explore. But we’re doing it our way:✔ Free, pet-friendly activities✔ Accessibility first✔ Faith leading the way✔ And of course… trying ALL the good food!

Today’s Update:

It’s the day before we leave, and the excitement is building! We’re busy finishing up those last-minute work projects, packing the van, double-checking the essentials, and printing off our adventure list. Our route is planned, the snacks are ready, and we’re praying over every mile ahead of us.

There’s something special about the final countdown before a trip — the anticipation, the lists, the hope for smooth travels… and the reminder that whatever happens, we’re trusting God to guide the way.

What We’re Packing:

• Travel essentials

• Gear for Althea (and treats, of course)

• Our Bibles — because no adventure starts without God leading the way

• A whole lot of snacks

• Comfortable clothes for exploring

• And an open heart for wherever this journey takes us

What We’re Expecting:

We know traveling isn’t always smooth — but that’s where grace steps in. We’re praying for good weather, kind people, accessible spaces, and plenty of joyful moments along the way. And even when hiccups happen (and they will), we’ll trust that God’s got us right where we’re supposed to be.

We’ll be sharing every step of this adventure — the places we go, the food we try, the people we meet, the moments that make us smile (and maybe the ones that test our patience too).
