☕ Saturday Food for Thought: THE GOD WHO CREATED THE STARS KNOWS YOUR NAME! ❤️

Good Saturday morning, family and friends!

As I sit here this morning with my coffee and God's Word, I've been thinking about just how BIG our God really is!

Y'all, have you ever stepped outside on a clear night and looked up at all those beautiful stars?

It's amazing to think about how big this universe is and how small we are compared to it.

But here's something that really touched my heart this morning.

THE SAME GOD WHO CREATED EVERY STAR IN THE SKY KNOWS YOU BY NAME! ❤️

The Bible says:

“It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in.” — Isaiah 40:22 KJV

Y'all, think about that!

Our Heavenly Father created the heavens and the earth. He placed the stars in the sky, set the sun and moon in their places, and holds all creation in His mighty hands.

And yet, with all that greatness, HE STILL CARES ABOUT YOU AND ME!

Just a few verses later, the Bible says:

“He calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.” — Isaiah 40:26 KJV

Can you imagine?

God knows every star!

And if He knows every star in that enormous sky, why would we ever think He doesn't know what's happening in our little corner of the world?

Sometimes I believe we make our problems seem bigger than our God.

We worry about tomorrow.

We fret over things we cannot change.

We wonder whether God hears our prayers or sees what we're going through.

And I'm preaching to Sarah this morning too! ❤️

I've had those moments when life felt overwhelming, and I couldn't understand why certain things were happening.

But one thing I've learned through my 55 years is this:

MY PROBLEMS MAY BE BIG TO ME, BUT THEY ARE NEVER TOO BIG FOR GOD!

Jesus said:

“But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.” — Matthew 10:30-31 KJV

Oh, how I love that!

God doesn't just know that we exist.

He knows our hearts.

He knows our struggles.

He knows the tears we've cried when nobody else was watching.

He knows the prayers we've whispered when we couldn't find the words.

And yes, HE KNOWS OUR NAMES!

The Bible says:

“Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.” — Isaiah 43:1 KJV

What a beautiful reminder of God's personal care for His people!

Y'all, we spend so much time trying to be noticed by this world.

We worry about what people think, whether we're good enough, whether we've accomplished enough, or whether anyone even sees what we're doing.

But here's what I want somebody to remember this morning:

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE FAMOUS TO BE KNOWN BY GOD!

You don't need a title.

You don't need a degree.

You don't need a big bank account.

You don't have to impress anybody.

YOU JUST NEED JESUS!

And I don't know about y'all, but that brings such peace to my heart.

The Creator of the universe is not too busy to hear my prayers.

He's not too important to care about my heartaches.

And He's not too far away for me to call upon Him.

WHAT A MIGHTY, LOVING, MERCIFUL HEAVENLY FATHER WE SERVE! ❤️

🙏 Heavenly Father, as I look at Your beautiful creation, I am reminded of just how great and mighty You are. Thank You for knowing me, loving me, and caring about every detail of my life. Forgive me for the times I've allowed my worries to become bigger than my faith. Help me remember that the same hands that created the heavens are more than able to carry me through whatever I face. Draw me closer to You, strengthen my faith, and let my life bring glory to Your wonderful name. In Jesus' name, Amen. ❤️
