Steady in the Storm
Scripture (KJV):"And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm."— Mark 4:39
Reflection: Some days feel like storms. Winds of worry, waves of fear, and clouds of doubt roll in without warning. But just like that day on the Sea of Galilee, Jesus is still speaking into the storm. Peace, be still.
Our Savior doesn’t promise a life without trouble, but He does promise His presence in the middle of it. When you feel tossed about, overwhelmed, or unsure of what tomorrow holds, remember this: the One who commands the storm is in your boat.
That changes everything.
Encouragement: Let today be the day you choose faith over fear. Trust that even if the waves are high, you are not going under. Jesus is near. He sees what you face. And with one word, He can still your storm. Keep your eyes on Him and your heart anchored in His peace.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for being with me in every storm. Speak peace to my heart today. Help me trust You when I cannot see clearly and rest in Your power even when the winds blow. I choose to believe that You are in control. In Your mighty name, Amen.
